    Junior Parada Royalty

What would a rodeo be without a Rodeo Queen and Rodeo Princess?  The Florence Jr. Parada Rodeo is represented throughout the year by two very awesome ambassadors for our rodeo.  This year they will be accompanied by their very own Florence Jr. Parada Sweethearts. Below is a little information about them and the Royalty program.

Rosie Wiltbank is a fifth generation Arizona cowgirl. Born Hannah Rose Wiltbank, seventeen years ago, her home of St. Johns quickly dubbed her "Rosie." Rosie is a senior at St. Johns High School where she will graduate in 2020 with honors. After graduation, Rosie will attend the University of Arizona where she will begin pre-veterinary and ag-business courses. While horses have always been Rosie's greatest love, she has also been a setter on the volleyball team and a guard on the basketball team. She is involved in the Student Council, President of the Agriculture Club, Prom Queen and a member of the National Honors Society.
Rosie is an accomplished livestock showman and received the coveted Round Robin buckle last year and again this year. She is involved in her community and tutors students and helps with community service projects.
Rosie designs and sews clothes and especially loves to create rodeo queen clothes. Her designs have won grand champion at her county fair six years in a row. Rosie has always loved the sport of rodeo. Whether she is a contestant herself or teaching spectators about the Greatest Sport on Dirt, Rosie is in her element.

Sara Parker is a 14 year old attending Boulder Creek High School, as a 9th grader. She takes honors classes for Math and English class. Sara has been riding horses since she was 2 years old and has been competing since she was 5 years old. Throughout her life, she has competed in barrel races and gymkhana and is currently a part of Western Saddle Club Gymkhana. She is actively learning how to rope to compete in high school rodeos. Throughout her life, her family has had many Quarter Horses and through those years she has found love for them. She currently has 4 horses.
Sara enjoys riding with family and friends at home in Cave Creek, Arizona, where she has lived for almost a year now. When she is not riding horses, she likes to spend time with family and friends. The horse she competes most of the time with and use the most is Bam Bam. She has ridden Bam Bam for 2 years now and has learned to rope on him.
When Sara gets older she plans to college rodeo and later become a Physical Therapist for a career. She plans to become a physical therapist to help people regain strength after an injury or to help people in their everyday physical activities. She also enjoys children, and babysits after school and on the weekends when she is not busy Queening.

    2019-2020 rodeo sweethearts

Lindsey has been head-over-heels for horses since she was a baby. She has always loved being around horses and started riding lessons at age 8. While riding, her favorite things are going on trail rides and jumping. Lindsey also enjoys being in the drama club at Happy Valley School. She has been in 3 plays so far and is preparing for another upcoming performance. Lindsey has the ability to make everyone around her happy. She has a sweet personality and a witty sense of humor. Lindsey's goals are to own a barn, tie her saddle without help, become rodeo queen and to be a champion barrel racer one day.

Maia Lane is a true rodeo princess and loves everything cowgirl. She loves to ride her horses Sweet Pea and Jeep and miss  them very much since living in California. Maia was the 2018-2019 Miss Rodeo Kern County Tiny Princess and had so much fun! She has also participated in Gymkhanas in Temecula, CA and won first place in lead line this past season, which made her parents very proud. Outside of rodeo she goes to school and plays with new friends and is learning her ABC's and numbers to grow up and be super smart. She loves to "dance-dance" and play with her little sister who is two. Her favorite colors are pink, purple, blue and red. She LOVES unicorns.

Hey guys! This is Hailie George your Florence Jr Parada Rodeo Queen! I Absolutely LOVED the QC holiday parade ! So glad I got to ride along side Bella Jenkins and Codi Ross, leading out incoming royalty. I'm happy I got to see my family and friends in town, while I ride my last time with Roots N' Boots. Most importantly, I'm not saying I won't cry when I hand my title down to the incoming Sr Teen Queen and my bestfriend in the whole world, Anna Butlerbecause I will cry.
